The college of nursing was established in 2003 with the vision to offer graduate programs in nursing to bring the nursing profession at par with international standards. The school has fully developed teaching departments pertaining to various field of Nursing.

The school is planned for doing pioneering work, in the field of Nursing Education and for imparting professional expertise, to the young aspirants who will be groomed to dedicate themselves to the service of humanity.

The school is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and Government of Rajasthan and affiliated by , Rajasthan Nursing Council, Jaipur for GNM course. school is situated in the sprawling vast area surrounded by natural Serene Beauty along with backdrop for great educational vision. After completion of the course the diploma will be awarded by RNC.

Prepare the graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives in providing comprehensive nursing services and conduct nursing research studies in the hospital as well as community settings.

Prepare nurses who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health and assume the role of teacher, supervisor, manager and client advocate in clinical and public health settings.

Prepare nurses with a sound educational program in nursing to enable them to function as efficient members of the health team, beginning with the competencies for first level positions in all kinds of health care settings.

Philosophy

It aims at identifying health needs of the people, planning and providing quality care in collaboration with other health professionals and community groups.

Scope of nursing practice encompasses provision of promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative aspects of care to people across their life span in wide variety of health care settings. Practice of nursing is based upon application of basic concepts and principles derived from the physical biologicalbehavioralsciences.

Nursing is based on values of caring, and aims to help individuals to attain independence in self-care. It necessitates development of compassion and understanding of human behavior among its practitioners to provide care with respect and dignity and protect the rights of individual & groups.

Undergraduate nursing program at the post basic level is a broad based education within an academic framework, which builds upon the skills and competencies acquired at the diploma level. It is specifically directed to the upgrading of critical thinking skills, competencies & standards required for practice of professional nursing and midwifery as envisaged in NationalHealthPolicy 2002 .
